Global sourcing provides unprecedented opportunities for companies to accelerate solutions, cut costs and compete effectively on a global scale. But global sourcing also exposes companies to unprecedented levels of risk. Risk events ranging from hacks to data leaks can have an out-sized impact on your business operations. Enterprises flag data security and suppliers’ conformance to laws and regulations as a major concern with contracting. Sourcing and risk professionals are increasingly relying on constantly evaluating risks and opportunities inherent in their third party relationships to add certainty.
The Global Sourcing Council’s Technology, Transparency and Trust Conference will take place in New York City, on Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at Thomson Reuters, 3 Times Square, New York City, NY.
We are moderating a panel at the summit on Technology to Enable Safety, Human Rights and Environmental Initiatives.
