The 2011 Power 50 ranking highlights the 50 professionals who have played a major role in strengthening business-process outsourcing and IT services in the Americas, developing new business, increasing the region’s competitiveness, setting the highest standards for service delivery — and ultimately improving the lives of their employees. Executives on the list – foremost – are among the most vocal champions of Americas-based outsourcing and services excellence.

Put simply, the Nearshore services industry is maturing rapidly and getting the respect it deserves on the global stage because of the serious-minded efforts of this group of executives. Our judges used words like ‘visionary’, ‘exemplary’ and ‘one of a kind’ in describing the final candidates. We honor these individuals here – and look forward to the important contributions they will make in coming years in generating an even more compelling voice rising from the Western Hemisphere.

About the Power 50 Review Process: The Power 50 ranking is the outcome of a four-month review and analysis, engineered by Nearshore Americas and overseen by a panel of five expert judges. Nominees for the ranking were received from the industry at large, via a free, online submission process. (In order to be placed on the list, one had to be nominated.)
