Opportunity to learn how resilient Sourcing Leaders will plan for recovery in a crisis that is unprecedented and far from over
NEW YORK, NY, June 2, 2020 – Neo Group, the leader in global Sourcing Advisory, and IAOP, the global sourcing association, announced the results of the Global Sourcing Impact and Response to COVID-19 Survey. Collected between April 20 th and May 8th, the survey responses are a unique perspective on the direct impact of COVID-19 to global buyers and service providers.
“The survey revealed that differences in sourcing strategies impacted how well buyers and suppliers have withstood the crisis thus far,” said Atul Vashistha, Chairman of Neo Group. “Additionally, the survey results will shed light on how buyers plan to rethink their future sourcing strategy on the path to recovery.”
The survey centered on 5 areas common to buyers and service providers: Disruption, Performance, Future Outlook, Planning Ahead, and Location Reviews. In addition, a buyer specific section gathered views on Operating Models, Performance of Service Providers, Plans, and Anticipated Adjustments, and a service provider specific section asked for views on Critical Services, Preparedness, BCP & Responsiveness.
