Objective Of The Role:

The Senior Analyst position entails overseeing comprehensive finance management, drawing on a robust finance background to authenticate and reconcile vendor invoices monthly. Additionally, the role involves utilizing the client’s governance tool to ensure timely payment release and overseeing all financial aspects of contracts. As a member of an advisory team, this role contributes to the implementation of Neo Advisory methodology and tools to support client sourcing initiatives. Responsibilities include hands-on tasks such as processing invoices, following up on payments, generating monthly reports, and engaging with stakeholders. Furthermore, the team member will craft project-related reports, participate in enhancement projects, gather and analyze data, offer insights on improvement opportunities, and pinpoint root causes for process gaps.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop deliverables using Neo Advisory tools and frameworks with guidance, ensuring quality standards.
    • Conduct detailed financial analysis and develop base cases using Neo Advisory frameworks and industry benchmarks.
    • Create financial models and trends.
    • Evaluate global outsourcing locations to help clients select optimal service locations.
    • Identify and monitor outsourcing risks using our risk monitoring framework.
    • Help develop competitive RFI/RFP/RFQ and proposal evaluation criteria.
    • Assist clients in sourcing evaluations using technical knowledge.
    • Assess financial and technical aspects of vendor proposals and perform comparative analysis.
    • Support contract negotiation processes and develop outsourcing contractual documents.
    • Create impactful PowerPoint presentations to convey complex messages to clients and external audiences with direction.
    • Lead financial management processes and collaborate with client stakeholders for effective implementation.
    • Audit and validate supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and avoiding duplicates.
    • Track monthly volume processed by suppliers and manage ARC & RRC as per contracts.
    • Recommend invoices for payment processing to adhere to payment SLAs.
    • Reconcile payments against received invoices and clear pending payments monthly with clients.
    • Collect and manage monthly data, reporting to clients and publishing periodic outstanding payment reports.
    • Monitor and acknowledge emails in the generic mailbox, ensuring timely resolution and report accuracy.
    • Work with suppliers to obtain accurate and timely data for standardized reporting across service providers.
    • Ensure all deliverables are prepared on time with high quality, capture and share meeting minutes, and provide continuous improvement ideas based on service metrics.

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Any graduate from a reputed management institute with a strong academic record.
    • 5-8 years’ experience in the outsourcing industry (IT, ITeS) with experience in Financial Management areas.
    • Excellent financial modeling skills and knowledge of concepts like DCF, NPV, sensitivity analysis, amortization, trending etc.
    • Prefer candidates with deep knowledge of atleast one of the two areas below:
      • IT services: Infrastructure operations, ADM
      • Procurement practices for IT hardware, software and telecom
    • Able to take direction and follow through independently
    • A keen eye and attention to details is required
    • Client management skills
    • Team management and excellent people skills
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge, Macros and Automation skills– will be added advantage
    • Demonstrates excellent communication skills including listening, written, oral, and presentation skills
    • Ability to keep commitments & meet deadlines


    Total compensation will be a function of the successful candidate’s level of experience and fit.
