JOB LOCATION:

This is a full time position and will be based in the Chicagoland area. There may be requirement for some amount of travel.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This role is at customer site and the person will be responsible for Governance Management for a key client’s Governance Process. He/She will work with the client and Neo offshore Manager and leads to ensure that the client deliverables are on time and on budget and meets or exceeds the quality requirement.

The key requirement is that the person should be able to set and manage client expectations in an IT and ITeS mulit-vendor outsourcing scenario. The person should have experience in managing teams as a Client manager in a dual shore model.

The person should have knowledge of the key Governance Processes – Performance Management, Contract Management, Risk Management and Financial Management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The person should establish robust governance structure and perform periodic review of the program and lead the provision of Governance Services
  • Ensure that the offsite team gets the data and information required from the client as well as client’s vendors.
  • Work closely with the client to review and sign off the reports and analysis performed by the offsite team and initiate improvement recommendations
  • Work with the client and offsite team to ensure root causes are identified and the corrective action has been taken.
  • Provide continuous improvement ideas to the client as well as to the offsite team based on current service metrics.
  • Provide client feedback to the offsite team and work with them to identify areas of improvement
  • Make periodic progress reviews with client and Neo leadership team. Conduct and run regular client meetings and quarterly governance meetings.
  • Participate in the governance meetings between the client and the service provider.
  • Be the single point of responsibility for both customer and offsite governance team
  • Should be able to manage the commercials of the project and lead expansion

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • MBA or relevant master’s graduation from reputed management institutes with strong academic record.
  • Bachelors degree with relevant experience will also be considered
  • 8- 15 years of experience in outsourcing industry(IT,ITeS) with experience in working in all areas of an outsourcing scenarioProficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Excellent Client Management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent Communication skills, assertive, forward looking, balanced view of the situation, negotiation skills
  • Should be able to monitor & control project cost; track and improve project profitability.
  • Ability to develop and deliver presentations at both tactical and strategic level of audience.
  • Good understanding of different pricing models, multiple contracts type etc.
  • Ability to negotiate with the team and the clients to ensure client deliverables.
